![]() Atomic have created a snappy, stable-feeling ski without filling it full of metal, which means while it’s a ripper on the groomers, it feels light, responsive and playful. One of the things you do notice about the construction of the Bent Chetler 100 is that it has a significant amount of camber. ![]() Skis Tested: Atomic Bent Chetler 100 2021, 188cmĬonditions: Chopped up fresh snow, and grippyish groomersīindings Used: Atomic Warden demo DETAILS Feel The Bent Chetler 100 proves a point that you do not need aerospace level technology to create a ski that is out of this world. However, it does have Atomic’s HRZN tech at both the tip and the tails which is their 3D-beveled, boat-hull shaped, horizontally rockered base which increases the surface area at the tips and tails by 10% giving you extra float, smear and slash ability. It has a light-weight wood core and full sidewall, fairly traditional. There is not too much to shout about in the way of construction for the Bent Chetler 100. Some of Atomic’s athletes such as the Kiwi Wells brothers use this ski every day, from hot lapping Cardrona Park to riding the variable NZ “powder”. This alone indicates how versatile this ski is and how many different riding styles it accommodates. The recommended mounting points span roughly 12cm, six forward of recommended and six back. ![]() I have mounted every binding style onto it, from pin-tech touring, through touring-alpine hybrids to full alpine bindings. I have sold this ski, over the last few years, to a huge range of skiers. Who Does the Atomic Bent Chetler 100 Suit Best?
